TCVFRA Five Year Strategic Recruitment and Retention Plan
On 1 October 2014, the TCVFRA issued an RFP for professional assistance to develop a Five Year Strategic Plan for the Recruitment and Retention of volunteer Fire Service personnel for the seven independent fire companies of Talbot County. The RFP is below as Attachment 1.
Two qualified proposals were submitted. Both were reviewed by the TCVFRA R&R Committee and a recommendation was made to the Association’s Executive Committee. After agreement on an awardee was made by them, the County Council was briefed on the decision. On 1 December 2014 a contract was awarded to Delta Development Group, Inc. Their proposal is below as Attachment 2.
A kick off meeting for this effort was conducted in conjunction with TCVFRA’s January meeting.
